To Stress or Not To Stress

I thought the wedding planning process was supposed to be stressful?

We have about six and a half months until our June 11, 2011 wedding. Its mid November and he proposed in June, June 10th to be exact.  In five months we’ve gotten a lot done and learned even more!

We’re planning a local wedding, but for me, I suppose you could consider it a destination wedding, right? Living in Costa Rica and getting married in Pennsylvania. I thought it was going to be much more stressful. I had all my meetings over a month ago, and almost everything is set:

Hey Gang,

Terribly sorry to fall off the face of the earth. Please stay tuned for a big blog coming up about my trip to Cuba.

I had to jump into the presidential debate here for a second. So I finally finished getting my gear together as of 4:19pm today. Man what a crazy morning. Sold my TV, my mattress, stopped by the local hardware store to unscrew my barrings on my two long board skateboards. Dumped a ton of clothes off at the local thrift store. Unloaded a bunch of plates, glasses, and some lamps on my lovely neighbors Phil and Charlotte. Left a bunch of other stuff out on the street marked free.

Yesterday afternoon I spent some time with my good buddy John Newcomb at the Dark Horse . We spent the afternoon catching up on life and surf escapades. In the background we watched the birds struggle against the miserable bears. I gotta say it was one of their more boring games. A field goal bonanza. Until finally McNabb came through to score the first touchdown only to have Brian “I’m a bum” Griese come back and when the game in the closing seconds.
